Left Handed?

I just realised that he had been using his left hand a lot. He uses the left hand to waves, to point at things, to hold things etc...

I now trying to "force" him to use his right hand by handing things to his right hand and "remind" him to point and holds thing with his right hand...

It's not that I'm against left handed people... I've learn that left handed people are more creative and artistic but there are a lot of inconvenience that comes with this gift.

Hope I still able to reverse the situation...Any suggestion parents as to what else I can do?

Hi, i clicked your nickname and saw your blog here! Wow...you're a brave mum to have 3 kiddos. Two is enough for me.

Tips: my mum used to hide my left hand behind my back while i practise writing with my right hand. Well, it paid off.
But i still continued to cut paper with my left hand or right hand. Can multi task on either hands...haha

I do agreed there are a lot of inconvenience from my observation. I'm glad that my mum correct me.

If Kayton turns out to be a left handed, i would just let it be...

Hey, mummy of 3, thank you for hopping by my blog earlier....

Have fun with your 3 little ones and have a great friday and weekend ahead.

Mama Lee Thanks for your tips. Might try that on him but I'm sure he will struggle like mad...

And you must be a very talented mummy, using both your right and left brain! Hope to "see" u back in action again!

KM If I can't reversed the situation, I might just have to leave him as he is..but there's so many things he can't do or find it difficult to do if he uses his left hand, like playing piano etc...

my son also started with left hands but i did not do anything though. he observes his sisters using right hand when colouring and scribbling, he copied. ;)

hey there...

I am having the exact problem..my boy is almost 19 months.. i did some research..it is better for them to use the hand that they are most comfortable with. By forcing the child to use the other hand..can lead to confusion and probably won't achieve it's full potential... that's what i found out from research... :)
